The Best Things to Do for Two Days in Vegas

The Best Things to Do for Two Days in Vegas

Las Vegas is considered to be the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World.’ With world-class dining and entertainment, there are literally hundreds of attractions and sights to see. But when you have only a couple of days, you want to make sure to make the most of your time and fill them with top picks from the “must-see” list. We’ve put together an itinerary that packs in the best the city has to offer.

Vegas: Day One

On Day One, it’s a smart thing to figure out your transportation around town from the get go. While taxis and Uber are popular choices, one of the best-kept secrets of Vegas is the “RTC.” For as little as $8 bucks, you can get a ticket for 24 hours of service and you’ll be able to ride both the SDX/express bus and the Deuce. Between the two lines, you’ll be able to stop at most hotels and ensure you can get around to where you need to go.

At some point on your trip you’ll want to stop at the iconic “Welcome to Las Vegas Sign.” We recommend doing this early in the day when there’s less of a crowd. Next up, head to the Showcase Mall for a visit to the Coca-Cola and M&M stores to get personalized merchandise and a head start on your souvenir shopping. From here, you can walk the bridge towards the New York, New York Hotel for an exciting ride on their iconic roller coaster that literally takes you on a ride through the casino. By now, you’ll probably need a quick refuel so grab a slice of cheese pie at ‘Big Apple’ pizza. And if you’re not feeling the whole amusement park vibe, then just head over to The Bellagio (on your RTC bus pass of course) where you can check out their free activities like the Conservatory, the Botanical Gardens and of course, the famous Bellagio Fountains.

To cap off your extraordinary day, find yourself at one of the best shows in Vegas, and treat yourself to “Le Reve- The Dream” at the Wynn.

Vegas: Day Two

On Day Two of your Vegas adventure, you will definitely need to fuel up for the day ahead. This means you’ll need an impressive buffet. There are so many to choose from but two of the city’s best include Treasure Island and the Bacchanal.

Hopefully you packed your sexy swimsuit because today is the day to have some poolside fun at one of Vegas’s day clubs. Be sure to check out Drai’s Day Club, located 11 floors up. With seven pools and soundtracks played by the hottest dj’s, this is the way to hang out under the sun. But remember, Vegas is a hot town so make sure to drink plenty of water during throughout the day! After a little R & R, and once the sun starts to go down, this is the perfect time to catch the lights of the city. The Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck provides a perfect place to get a great photo. To avoid the crowds, be sure to go early. To cap off the day, check out the Gondolas going through the Grand Canal Shoppes, a truly unique experience considering that they are indoors.

For your last night in town, you’ll definitely want to check out another big show. A great choice is Baz-the Musical Mashup. Featuring songs from director Baz Lurhman’s films, it’s a musical mash up of glamour, drama and decadence. All the best elements of Las Vegas rolled into one fabulous show. And the perfect way to wrap up a trip for the ages!
